I am open to doing a canon refresher on an older fandom on a case-by-case basis.

Especially interested in: I am genuinely quite open to betaing anything so long as it doesn't involve any of the things I include in the list below of subjects I am not willing to address! I think it would be a lot of fun to use this opportunity to work with an author on a lengthy, plot-y sort of story, but I also really enjoy working to tighten and refine shorter works.

Other notes: I am American, so any spelling/grammar feedback will come from that POV. As a beta, you can expect me to be blunt but encouraging; I can be even more critical if you'd like some tough love, but if you're looking for more of a cheerleading beta, I'm probably not the right fit. I will be very specific in clarifying author expectations prior to betaing, and I will not provide feedback on any elements of your writing without being asked (unless it's somehow relevant to a note I have about another area of your writing that you have asked me to look at).

I'm willing to provide feedback at multiple points in the writing process based on what we establish in our initial conversations (for example, if you anticipate that you will need an earlier developmental edit plus characterization feedback later on), but please note that I will only offer one round of SPAG edits.
