Especially interested in: I love writing all the extant immortals, especially Andy, Quynh, and Nile. My writing is generally compliant with movie canon (at least until the sequel comes out) and I'll do any time period, before or after the events of the movie. I really like exploring the emotional and relational implications of immortality, which means I default to "bittersweet but hopeful" (although I'm not limited to that.)
Unwilling to address: Except for the AU I already have (which I can write more of), I don't enjoy writing AUs, although canon divergence is ok. I won't write dark versions of characters. I won't write non-canon relationships with existing characters (so Nile/original character would be fine, but Nile/Booker no). No graphic sex, no major character death (I might possibly make an exception, but assume not), no racist/sexist/etc content (obviously this is open to interpretation and discussion.)
Other notes: Prompts for last year's FTH gifts were "Andy and Quynh in a historical setting (not a convent or other religious community) navigating gender roles" and "Joe and Nile talking about immortality." I would ideally like at least that level of specificity. I'm happy to just take the prompt and run with it, or to check in on details if that's what you'd prefer.
Special interests: F/F ships, Ambiguous endings
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 5 March 2024, to 8:00PM EST, 9 March
2024. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be
counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. If you would like to track changes to this bidding sheet, select Tools -> Notification Settings. Email notifications may not be immediate, so we do not recommend relying on them near the end of the auction period. Bookmark this sheet so you can check it manually. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
