Other notes: In previous years, I’ve finished the fic at the very end of the year, with not a lot of contact with or input from the bidder. (Not out of antipathy! Just how it worked out.) I prefer a loose, open-ended prompt that’s open to a wide range of interpretations in both substance and execution. If you have a very specific scenario or reading of the characters in mind, I might not be the writer for you. That being said, it’s always hard to describe exactly what trips our wires, so I’m happy to have a discussion via email if you have any questions.
