I can also offer clarity suggestions if there are cases where it's unclear who's speaking, or something seems discontinuous between scenes.

Relevant experience/background: I've done beta reading for several authors with good feedback! This has ranged from brainstorming to phrasing/coherence to SPaG only.

Other notes about labor offered: The length limit is for more complex beta work. I'll do SPaG only for up to 100k.

Especially interested in: I write mostly based on postcrisis Bat comics! Some of my favorite themes are the complicated and ambiguous relationships (especially the Bruce & Dick, Dick & Damian, and Babs & Cass - the mess of parent-mentor-friend) and stories without a tidy resolution. I really like doing character and relationship studies.

Unwilling to address: No romance as a primary topic (background is okay). No smut (but okay with rape aftermath or implied/referenced sex).

I do prefer comics-based characterization for Jason Todd/ Red Hood (not a good guy), in case that's something you have strong feelings about.

Other notes: I'm open to very specific scenarios/setups, as long as I get some wiggle room for the fallout. I'm also happy to work with a theme or topic, rather than a scenario.

If you have a very specific story outline (you know the whole plot & its conclusion), please message me before bidding to make sure I can work with it.

If you have a very vague prompt, I'm happy to discuss before or after bidding until I have some idea what you like! My thought is that we chat at least until major characters, theme(s), and a rough setting are settled, (or at least two of the three), but this is negotiable based on bidder's preferences.
