I've written fluffy, angsty, funny, and bittersweet fics. I enjoy character studies, and I'm better at dialogue/inner monologue than detailed description or action. I am super-new to writing any sexual content (and only in 100 word smubble form so far).

Many of my fics are slice of life and/or strings of relatively short scenes connected by a theme/idea. I am a drabble enthusiast who abides by word count restrictions, and I would be happy to write multiple drabbles/drabble sequences (would only do this if specifically asked).

I can work with both vague or specific prompts. I might like to ask some clarifying questions or get more detail/suggestions, but that's not necessary.

Relevant experience/background: I am a native English speaker who has beta read several multi-chapter fics for a non-native speaker.

Other notes about labor offered: I am offering to beta read primarily for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity. When I suggest changes, I often try to explain the grammar or punctuation rule that was violated. I try to preserve the writer's voice as much as possible — I might point out a comma splice, but I fully respect the artistic decision to include it. In my opinion, non-native speakers often have a unique charm to their writing style, and my goal is to let that still shine through (just with better verb agreement and correct dialogue tag punctuation).

Other notes: I prefer receiving a draft and then making suggestions on my own time rather than reading through a draft together on Tumblr, Discord, or another messaging service. I am happy to do a little back and forth over chat if that's helpful, but only as a supplement. I use tracked changes and comments for my suggestions.

Barring any prior commitments or household emergencies (illness, etc), I can usually do under 5k inside a week. I'd prefer two weeks for 5-10k.
