I like side characters and missing scenes/fill-in-the-gap type fics a lot, but pre- and post- canon is also great. I love found family! I love parallels! I love introspection and character studies! I love heavy-handed metaphors for growth and change!

FFVII: Original game, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, and Remake/Rebirth; most interested in main game or Remake; most interested in gen fic (esp. w/AVALANCHE crew)

Other notes: I would love to be the one to take that super specific idea you have but can't get into words and put it into words for you, but I'm also happy with a more vague prompt or even just vibes. I thrive in collaborative environments—I'm comfortable with people dropping into my WIPs or DMs to suggest things, etc., but I'm also fine with a hands-off approach in which I just run with something and (potentially) surprise you.

I prefer writing things that have a nice balance of emotion and forward momentum; not necessarily a heavy plot, but at least a start and end point in which someone is changed or something noteworthy happens. A balance of (light) angst and humor is my typical fare.

Other notes: Would be happy to check in to establish things like character voices, rate of speech, sound effects, etc. I am preferably recording something written by the bidder (or by me if someone wants that for some reason), so ideally the bidder has answers to questions like "what's the emotional intent of this line," etc. if those arise.

I won't be able to do specific accents; I have a sort of Midwest US accent with access to some varieties of Southern US speech. This means that characters like Ignis, Aziraphale and Crowley, Balthier, etc. will unfortunately end up sounding American, if that's a consideration.
