If you have a very specific prompt and are not flexible, it's best to
contact the creator before bidding, even if it fits within their
listed parameters. If you are asking for a specific kink, always
ask first.
SilverAdept's offerings:
SilverAdept Auction #1
Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of
the listed groups (See full
list.)
Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s): fan
fiction (new)
Fandom(s): Encanto, RWBY, Super Mario
Bros.
Highest rating: E
Length/scope: 5 -10k
words.
Minimum Bid: $5
Especially interested in: I really like poking into the world
and seeing what falls out or examining spaces that are hinted at in
the canon but otherwise left to exist in the world and interact.
Characters coming into their competence or discovering hidden depths
are always fun, and I do like figuring out what the parts of
characters are that will still shine through in different settings,
alternate universes, or for pairings that don't follow the canon.
Unwilling to address: I have no interest in stories inside the
incest taboo, so I wouldn't write it particularly well.
I'm leery
of abusive relationships uncritically portrayed as positive. (I do not
consider consensual kink inherently abusive.)
I'm not interested in
watersports or scat as kinks or things to be explored.
Other notes: Hello! This is an auction for a newly-created
fanfiction work, created by me from prompts and information gathered
from you. This work is only for the fandoms mentioned above. The
minimum wordcount for this work is 5,000 words. Because of this,
having more than one idea that you would enjoy having written is
helpful, but not strictly necessary.
I'm fine with gen and ship
fic, het or queer, singletons, pairs, and mores. I'm open to AU ideas,
crossovers, fusions, and other playing with canon elements as well as
stories within the canonical boundaries.
If you're the winning
bidder, after the auction is concluded, we'll communicate over e-mail
or other methods to get your ideas, possible pairings, and prompts.
Once you're satisfied with the direction, I'll get to work drafting,
and then loop back to you with questions, excerpts, and eventually,
ask you about any betas you want to have look over the work before
final posting. This is usually a process that takes several months.
Special interests: F/F ships, Poly ships, Canonically trans or
nonbinary characters, Trans or nonbinary interpretations of canon
characters
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 5 March 2024, to 8:00PM EST, 9 March
2024. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be
counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current
high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to
appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the
current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid
you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you.
If you would like to track changes to this bidding sheet, select Tools
-> Notification Settings. Email notifications may not be immediate, so
we do not recommend relying on them near the end of the auction
period. Bookmark this sheet so you can check it manually. FTH will
only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
SilverAdept Auction #2
Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of
the listed groups (See full
list.)
Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s):
meta/analysis
Fandom(s): RWBY, Steven Universe, Super Mario
Bros.
Highest rating: E
Length/scope: Less than 5k
words.
Minimum Bid: $5
Especially interested in: I really like poking into the world
and seeing what falls out or examining spaces that are hinted at in
the canon but otherwise left to exist in the world and interact. The
worldbuilding decisions of a given canon are definitely of interest
when I am thinking about meta, as well as characterization decisions
that go along with it. If the canon has a particular language of
expression, that can also be an interesting platform to springboard
on.
Unwilling to address: I have no interest in stories inside the
incest taboo.
I'm leery of abusive relationships uncritically
portrayed as positive, so I am unlikely to produce meta that says
someone's abusive relationship, either as a giver or a receiver, is
healthy and positive for them. (I do not consider consensual kink
inherently abusive.)
Other notes: Hello! This is an auction for a newly-created meta
work, created by me from prompts and information gathered from you and
the available material. This work is only for the fandoms mentioned
above. There is no minimum wordcount for this meta, but I will try to
give your idea a proper treatment.
I am used to thinking about
worldbuilding, characterization and motivation, but if you would like
material about artistic choices, gameplay mechanics, or other
non-world, non-character elements of the selected canon, I am open to
it!
If you're the winning bidder, after the auction is
concluded, we'll communicate over e-mail or other methods to get your
ideas. Once you're satisfied with the direction, I'll get to work
drafting and engaging in any necessary canon review, and then loop
back to you with questions, excerpts, and eventually, ask you about
any betas you want to have look over the work before final posting.
This is usually a process that takes several months.
Special interests: F/F ships, Poly ships, Canonically trans or

SilverAdept Auction #3
Organizations this auction benefits: Bidder's choice of any of
the listed groups (See full
list.)
Type of fanwork: Fan labor
Subtype(s): Betaing,
Culture picking (Brit-picking, etc), Specialist expertise (about a
profession, hobby, subculture, etc)
Fandom(s):
Any
Highest rating: E
Length/scope: Depends how
much the bidder contributes.. I suggest $1 USD per 1000 words (or
equivalent) of the work the labor will be performed for, but I also
understand that some contributors will not be able to meet this, thus,
a suggestion, not a demand.
Minimum Bid: $5
Fan labor details: I am offering familiarity with the regions and cultures of the Great Lakes and Pacific Northwest areas of the United States.
I am offering specialist expertise on the practice and organization of public libraries and their programming as well as some of the common and uncommon issues that arise in the practice of librarianship and the operation of a library.
I can speak to sport culture and rules of various sports as played in the United States, as well as the differences between many of the amateur and professional levels and leagues of sport. (Not specifically enough for RPF fandoms.)
In the betaing process, I can help with idea and plot development (usually through the process of asking questions about what the creator is interested in), spelling, punctuation, and grammar (SPaG) for US English, cheerleading, check-ins, and accountability partnering, and reading and marking up drafts for coherence, plot, and other elements. If it happens to be in a canon I am familiar with, I may be able to provide more in-depth comments in these areas.
Relevant background/experience: I have lived significant amounts of my life in both the Great Lakes and Pacific Northwest regions of the United States.
I am a practicing public librarian of more than a decade and a half, with experience in programming and navigating the bureaucracy that comes with an organizational structure.
Other notes about labor offered:
Especially interested in: I really like poking into the world
and seeing what falls out or examining spaces that are hinted at in
the canon but otherwise left to exist in the world and interact.
Characters coming into their competence or discovering hidden depths
are always fun, and I do like figuring out what the parts of

I'm not interested in watersports or scat as kinks or
things to be explored.
Other notes: I will do my best to be helpful, but if you would
like something more than readability and SPaG for your work, I will
probably need a source where I can consume the canon, or at least the
parts of the canon most relevant to your work.
Special interests: F/F ships, Poly ships, Canonically trans or
nonbinary characters, Trans or nonbinary interpretations of canon
characters
