Shanimal's offerings:
Shanimal Auction #1
Organizations this auction benefits: Middle East Children's Alliance *, Environmental Org: Pollinator Partnership * (See full list. * denotes an organization that accepts international donations.)
Type of fanwork: Written fanwork
Subtype(s): fan
fiction (new)
Fandom(s): Good Omens
Highest
rating: M
Length/scope: Less than 5k words.
Minimum Bid: $5
Especially interested in: My forte is fluff and humor genres
and would prefer to stick to those tropes, but can also do minor
angst! I have the most fun writing things that are canon-compliant,
but I also really like AUs!
For Good Omens, I only write
Aziraphale/Crowley, and can do ace-friendly interpretations! I'm not
very good at writing the other characters (like Anathema, Adam, Nina,
Gabriel, etc), even in the background, but I can give it a shot! Wives
and/or reverse!omens characterizations are also okay!
Unwilling to address: No major archive warnings; no direct
abuse or hurt-without-comfort; no suicide/suicidal themes or anything
else overly self-deprecating; no smut; no bad endings, but
ambiguous/hopeful is okay!
No kid fics please. I also do not
want to write that the final 15 was specifically Crowley or
Aziraphale's fault, or that either of them feel undeserving of the
other's love. No fallen Aziraphale.
Other notes: I'm told I have a great grasp on characterizations, and that my writing tends to be very atmospheric! Most of what I write tends to be a single scene as a snapshot of a larger story, as I have a hard time finishing pieces longer than 3-4k words, so your initial prompt should be something that can fit within this constraint. We may go back and forth a bit until we can find a solid idea I click with and that you will be happy to receive!
Auctions run from 8:00AM EST, 5 March 2024, to 8:00PM EST, 9 March
2024. Bids before or after this period are invalid and will not be
counted. If you would like to bid on this auction:
Step 1: Check the bidding spreadsheet to find out what the current high bid is. (Note: It may take up to five minutes for a bid to appear.)
Step 2: Fill out the creator's bidding form with a bid that is higher than the current high bid. If you want to make it harder for someone to outbid you, bid higher! We will NOT notify you if someone outbids you. If you would like to track changes to this bidding sheet, select Tools -> Notification Settings. Email notifications may not be immediate, so we do not recommend relying on them near the end of the auction period. Bookmark this sheet so you can check it manually. FTH will only notify you if you are the high bidder after the auctions end.
Shanimal Auction #2
Organizations this auction benefits: Middle East Children's Alliance *, Environmental Org: Pollinator Partnership * (See full list. * denotes an organization that accepts international donations.)
Type of fanwork: Fan labor
Subtype(s):
Betaing
Fandom(s): Good Omens, Miraculous Ladybug, Percy
Jackson and the Olympians
Highest rating:
E
Length/scope: 5 -10k words.
Minimum Bid: $5
Fan labor details: Mostly SPAG and cheerleading, but I'm also happy to help alpha-read and find plot solutions for parts you may be stuck on!
Relevant experience/background: I've been hobby writing for over a decade! I also took creative writing as an "immersion" in college (which is basically just a few credits shy of it being a minor) so I've got a couple of those classes under my belt too!
Other notes about labor offered:
Especially interested in:
Unwilling to address: I'm willing to beta-read for pretty much anything, except for major archive warnings and extreme angst.
